Powell Butte Plume Cabochon

Powell Butte agate is one of the rarest plume agates around, once a small deposit found in central Oregon but very quickly depleted. The moss variety was bit more plentiful than the plumes, making the plume pieces even more special. They can be suspended in clear agate with sharp red and black coloration, making them pop heavily; and other times, the plumes can be suspended in a lovely pinkish-red color, surrounded by many unique characteristics. There's so much to this agate and so little of it, being able to work with this material has been a dream.
